A quick and impressive cheese board featuring tangy bleu cheese, creamy brie, and fresh red grapes, perfect for casual gatherings and last-minute entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces (115 g) bleu cheese (e.g., Roquefort, Gorgonzola, or Point Reyes)
  • 68 ounces (170225 g) brie cheese wheel
  • 12 cups (150300 g) fresh seedless red grapes
  • 2 cups (about 60 g) crackers or thinly sliced baguette (multigrain preferred)
  • Optional add-ons: honey drizzle, fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs, nuts like walnuts or pecans, dried apricots or figs

Instructions

  1. Remove the brie from the fridge about 20 minutes before assembling to let it soften slightly.
  2. Slice the bleu cheese into bite-sized chunks or crumble it loosely for a rustic look.
  3. Rinse the grapes thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean towel.
  4. Place the brie wheel slightly off-center on your board.
  5. Spread the bleu cheese chunks or crumbles near the brie with some space between.
  6. Create small clusters of grapes around the cheeses, balancing colors and shapes.
  7. Arrange crackers or baguette slices in little stacks or fanned out near the cheeses and grapes.
  8. If using, place honey in a small bowl with a drizzle spoon and scatter nuts and herbs around for texture and fragrance.
  9. Step back and adjust the arrangement for balance and visual appeal, adding more grapes or crackers if needed.
  10. Serve at room temperature for best flavor.

Notes

Remove brie from fridge 20 minutes before serving to soften. Wash and dry grapes thoroughly to avoid soggy crackers. Use dedicated knives for soft and hard cheeses. Add honey or sweet fruit to mellow strong bleu cheese. Assemble just before serving to keep crackers crisp.
