A stunning, romantic charcuterie board for two that looks like you spent hours but takes only 15-20 minutes to assemble. Perfect for date nights, movie marathons, or any evening when you want to feel fancy without the fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces salami (e.g., Columbus or Boar’s Head)
  • 2 ounces soppressata (optional)
  • 4 ounces soft brie, at room temperature
  • 4 ounces aged cheddar, sharp and crumbly
  • 2 ounces goat cheese log
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup mixed olives (kalamata and green)
  • 1/4 cup cornichons or small pickles
  • 1/4 cup dried apricots
  • 1/4 cup fresh figs, halved (or strawberries if out of season)
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 small baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds and lightly toasted
  • 1 cup mixed crackers (plain or rosemary flavored)
  • 1/4 cup Marcona almonds (fried and salted; regular almonds work too)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • Edible flowers for garnish (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the board (5 minutes): Place small bowls on the board in a triangle pattern. Fill one with honey, one with olives, and one with whole grain mustard. Leave nuts in a small bowl or pile directly on the board later.
  2. Arrange the cheeses (3 minutes): Place brie on the left, cheddar on the right, and goat cheese log in the center. Slice brie into wedges or leave whole. Cut cheddar into cubes or thin slices. Crumble goat cheese into rustic chunks. Leave space between each cheese.
  3. Add the meats (3 minutes): Fold prosciutto slices into loose ribbons and place near brie. Roll salami slices into cylinders or fold into quarters and stack. Arrange soppressata in a small pile near cheddar. Create height and texture.
  4. Fill in with fruits and pickles (3 minutes): Tuck dried apricots and fresh figs between cheeses and meats. Place cornichons in a small cluster near meats. Scatter almonds in empty spaces.
  5. Add the crunch (2 minutes): Arrange toasted baguette slices along the bottom edge of the board. Place crackers in a fan pattern near the top.
  6. Garnish and serve (2 minutes): Drizzle honey over brie and goat cheese. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over cheddar. Tuck rosemary sprigs and edible flowers into gaps. Serve immediately at room temperature.

Notes

Take cheeses out of fridge 30 minutes before serving for best flavor. If board looks sparse, add more crackers or fruit. For a vegetarian version, skip meats and add roasted red peppers, marinated artichoke hearts, and extra cheeses. Store leftovers separately in airtight containers; cheeses and meats keep up to 3 days in fridge.
