A quick and easy smoothie made with frozen banana, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, and protein powder. It’s creamy, satisfying, and perfect for busy mornings or post-workout refueling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large ripe banana, preferably frozen
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice (whole milk, almond milk, oat milk, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Handful of ice cubes (optional, if using fresh banana)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your banana: if using fresh, peel and slice into chunks; if frozen, break into smaller pieces.
  2. Add the liquid base: pour 1 cup of milk into the blender first.
  3. Add the yogurt and peanut butter: spoon in 1/2 cup Greek yogurt and 2 tablespoons peanut butter.
  4. Add the banana and protein powder: toss in banana chunks and protein powder. If using fresh banana, add a handful of ice cubes.
  5. Add the vanilla extract: add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  6. Blend until smooth: start on low speed and increase to high, blending for 30-45 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
  7. Check the consistency: if too thick, add more milk; if too thin, add more ice or frozen banana.
  8. Pour and serve: pour into a glass or travel cup. Adjust sweetness or add a pinch of salt if desired.

Notes

For the best texture, always use a frozen banana. Layer ingredients correctly: liquids first, then soft ingredients, then frozen. Do not over-blend. Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup if desired. This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
