A simple, easy-to-make morning drink with fresh lemon juice, pink Himalayan salt, and water that hydrates, energizes, and supports detoxification.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about 15 ml)
  • A pinch of pink Himalayan salt (roughly 1/8 teaspoon or 0.6 grams)
  • 1 cup cold filtered water (240 ml)

Instructions

  1. Cut a fresh lemon in half and use a citrus reamer or juicer to extract about 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of juice, avoiding seeds.
  2. Measure a pinch (roughly 1/8 teaspoon or 0.6 grams) of fine pink Himalayan salt into your drinking glass.
  3. Add 1 cup (240 ml) of cold filtered water to the glass.
  4. Stir well with a spoon or stir stick until the salt dissolves completely, about 20 seconds.
  5. Taste and adjust by adding more water if too tart or a tiny pinch more salt if desired.
  6. Optional: Stir in 1 teaspoon of raw honey or garnish with fresh mint leaves for added flavor.

Notes

Use fresh lemons for best flavor. Measure salt carefully to avoid overpowering the drink. Stir thoroughly until salt dissolves. Drink fresh for best taste and benefits. Optional additions include raw honey, fresh mint, or coconut water for variation.
