A simple, festive, and fun mocktail bar setup using just five easy-to-find ingredients, perfect for casual celebrations and inclusive for all ages.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 liter (34 fl oz) sparkling water (plain or flavored, e.g., Topo Chico or La Croix)
  • 4 to 5 medium fresh limes, juiced and sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) agave nectar (can substitute honey or simple syrup)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) fresh-squeezed orange juice
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves, washed

Instructions

  1. Juice 4 medium limes (about 1/2 cup or 120 ml of juice) and 1/2 cup (120 ml) of fresh orange juice, removing any seeds.
  2. Slice one lime into thin wheels and rinse a handful of fresh mint leaves; set aside for garnishing.
  3. In a pitcher, combine 1/4 cup (60 ml) agave nectar with the citrus juices and stir gently until dissolved. Warm slightly if needed but do not overheat.
  4. Slowly pour 1 liter (34 fl oz) of chilled sparkling water into the pitcher and stir gently to blend without losing fizz.
  5. Arrange the pitcher, lime wheels, mint leaves, and optional add-ons like fresh berries or chili powder in separate bowls or jars. Provide glasses, ice cubes, and stirring sticks.
  6. Encourage guests to build their own mocktails by starting with the sparkling citrus base, then adding garnishes and a squeeze of lime or a sprig of mint.

Notes

Use fresh citrus juice for best flavor; chill sparkling water and glasses beforehand to keep drinks crisp. Stir gently to preserve fizz. Customize sweetness by adjusting agave or orange juice. Optional garnishes include fresh berries and chili powder or Tajín for rimming glasses. Store leftover citrus base refrigerated up to 24 hours; add sparkling water fresh before serving.
